Well I hae no doubt that most are tired of hearing about the oil spill in the Gulf. I know I am. It certainly is a big enough issue that should be discussed, stopped and perhaps learn a way to prevent it from happening again if that is even possible...but come on. Really?
The impact that the oil spill will have on just the environment is extremely significant let alone every other aspect that is touched by such an event. Where I am upset or confused is where is any action being taken to resolve any of what is going on?
I am not a scientist, politician, oil comglomerate - just a citizen who has heard of so many opportunities for this mess to be approached in a better manner. When something so overwhelming happens that has so many different impacts in so many areas, it is typically too overwhelming for a few people to conquer the problem.
In our case it seems like everyone is talking and yet no one is hearing what is being said. Why is that? Do we really like to make a mountain out of a mole hill? Or is it more fun for the politicians to act like they care and just point fingers? Maybe if they spent more time on focusing on taking care of the spill instead of blame and suing then more would be getting accomplished!
Like I said, who am I to say. However that being said, what are they doing? What has been done to try to help the situation at all? Hopefully something will begin to happen soon and maybe the media and others will quit playing the blame game and spend that energy to help! Enough harm has been done.

I agree with you. I am against BP for this happening but at this point we need to stop complaining. Something needs to be done and people should be helping and not focusing on pointing fingers. What concerns me are all the animals. The recent find of the dead sperm whale really shows the severity of the oil spill. I hope they find a way to fix it soon.
